I am an Iranian painter living in Spain. My early works were mostly Persian miniatures, and I gradually mastered the use of different mediums and moved on to painting figures, landscapes, portraits and still life in watercolour, acrylics, tempera, pastel, and oil.
My paintings are inspired by colour and light and I have and take special interest and care to the detail.
I was trained by old school master painters at the Fine Art and Miniature School in Teheran, Iran where I was born. I also attended the Slade School of Fine Art in London and the Central Saint Martin Art School for specific courses.
I have donated some of my work as prints to UNICEF and the Marie Curie Institute.
I have participated in projects such as the exhibition of opera costumes of the Garnier Opera in Paris and the publicity of Caran d'Ache watercolours.
Some of my paintings have been reproduced by Royles Publication PLC and Camdon Graphics in London.
